RUSAL says IFRS net profit falls by 44.4% to $1.8 bln in 2022

MOSCOW, Mar 17 (PRIME) -- The net profit of Russian aluminum giant UC RUSAL decreased by 44.4% on the year to U.S. $1.793 billion in 2022, as calculated under International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), the company said in a statement on Friday.

The adjusted net profit decreased to $725 million from $1.536 billion a year ago, and adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) amounted to $2.03 billion. Revenue grew by 16.5% to $13.9 billion.
